'Plenty to do' on a lazy Sunday in Belfast

A number of activities will be taking place on Sunday July 11th in Belfast to keep visitors and residents busy.

One such event is the Urban Arts Academy, which is an annual summer programme of creative arts and music performances which offers courses, exhibitions, gigs and seminars.

For those looking a bit of entertainment, the Festival of Fools will be taking place from 14:00 to 16:00 BST and it gives individuals the chance to see the Barren Carousel perform some of its death-defying aerial feats.

People who are more inclined to be interested by literature may want to go on the CS Lewis bus tour.

The guide departs from the Linen Hall Library, which is the oldest of its kind in Belfast and the last subscribing one in Ireland.

It will give the public the opportunity to find out more about the Chronicles of Narnia author, including his academic and essayist background.
