Those looking to stay somewhere in Belfast may want to check into the Merchant Hotel.Situated on Waring Street in the Cathedral Quarter, a £16 million extension will be unveiled later this year, the Belfast Telegraph reports.
Once it is completed, the venue will boast a jazz bar, a roof-top garden, conference facilities, 38 new bedrooms and a spa.
Bill Wolsey, head of the Beannchor Group which owns the hotel, told the news provider: "We have created a landmark that the people of Belfast can continue to take pride in."
He added the building will be able to cater for a number of different services that it was previously unable to handle.
Mr Wolsey observed that attempts to get outdoor markets for the area arranged on Sundays have been cumbersome due to the "quagmire of bureaucracy".
And while individuals are staying in the city they may wish to get on board the new amphibious tour vehicle, which brings people through the city streets and into the River Lagan.
