Fatboy Slim has promised a spectacular show ahead of his concert in Giants Park.The internationally-recognised DJ - whose real name is Norman Cook - plays the venue on Saturday (May 8th) and he will be the first artist to play there.
In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph, he noted that "Irish fans are just fantastic" and they bring exuberance to his gigs that other places do not.
"There's nothing I can tell Irish crowds about how to behave - just keep on doing exactly what you do," he added.
The musician is particularly excited about being the debut act at the location as it gives him the chance to try out "interesting new places".
According to the news provider, the show will have the biggest lasers ever brought to Ireland and the performer's support will include Deadmau5, Zane Lowe and Kissy Sell Out.
Promoter Eddie Wray remarked that it was one of his proudest moments in getting Fatboy Slim to play in the city.
