Visitors to Belfast will be able to take advantage of the newly-refurbished Crescent Arts Centre.The listed building, which has been renovated at a cost of £7.2 million in a project that took 18 months to complete, will now host a series of activities.
Exhibitions, rehearsal space, a theatre and a cafe are just some of the facilities that will now be on offer.
SDLP party member Dr Alasdair McDonnell noted that the premise had been turned into a state-of-the-art facility.
"I would urge people across Belfast to come along and get involved in one of the creative events or free classes," he added.
Dr McDonnell remarked that a week-long festival is being held to celebrate the return of the centre and there would be something for everyone at the event.
The Belfast Film Festival recently kicked off with two Irish actors - Ciaran Hinds and John Lynch - both attending the premieres of their respective movies, the Belfast Telegraph reported.
