Titanic's last menu available to eat again

Individuals will be able to taste the final menu enjoyed by the passengers of the ill-fated maiden Titanic voyage.

Conor McClelland is the proprietor and chef at Rayanne House in Holywood and he is giving people the opportunity to sample some history, the BBC reports.

Diners will get to enjoy canapes a l'amiral before moving on to cream of barley soup flavoured with Bushmills whiskey.

Next up will be salmon and pan seared filet mignon before spiced peaches are served up, the news provider noted.

Mr McClelland told the information outlet: "The food is genuinely lovely. It was such a beautiful menu. There was so much attention to detail in the food that it really was a first-class feast."

He noted that interest in the dishes has been "phenomenal".

For those who are looking to find out more about the famous ship, two celebrations of nautical history, Titanic Made in Belfast and the Belfast Titanic Maritime Festival, are returning to the city in 2010.
