Belfast 'offers plenty of places to eat'

People who are visiting Belfast will be able to sample some fine culinary delights after a number of restaurants were recognised by Michelin.

Eleven restaurants have been included in the "bible of food", with Deanes leading the way, having been awarded a Michelin star for the last 14 years, the Belfast Telegraph reports.

Paul Rankin's Cayenne has been awarded a Bib Gourmand, a prize that is given to restaurants that serves good food at moderate prices.

The news provider noted that new to the list was No 27 Talbot Street, a restaurant that only opened its doors in 2007.

Its owner, Adrian Lowry, told the paper: "The sheer number of restaurants from Belfast alone that feature in this prestigious guide is testimony to the wealth of choice of high quality restaurants that exist in Belfast today."

Deanes Deli is described as having an easy-going yet stylish interior on its website.
