International hotel to open in Belfast

People visiting Belfast are set to have the option of staying in another top hotel, with the Park Inn opening in the city.

Having cost £23 million to build, it is scheduled to begin welcoming guests on December 15th, just in time for Christmas.

It is part of the hotel group that also includes Park Plaza Radisson hotels, the Belfast Telegraph reports.

Gerard Kelly, the hotel's general manager, commented: "We are very excited to soon be opening the doors to this fantastic hotel, literally in the heart of the city, a few minutes stroll from all the shops, theatres and the main business district.

"The facilities are excellent and we look forward to welcoming guests from both the local area and further afield and to giving them the Park Inn experience."

It will include seven business conference rooms, as well as full fitness suite facilities.

People staying at the hotel in its opening week could choose to visit Belfast's Christmas Continental market.
