A boat tour of the area in Belfast where the Titanic was built is proving a huge hit, despite the irony of taking to water to learn about the infamously sunk ship.Lagan Boat Company's Titanic Tours are becoming extremely popular with people flying in to Belfast, with the hour-long trips providing a nostalgic look at the Titanic's beginnings.
It is described as "fully weatherproof" and travels from Donegall Quay, past the Victoria Square shopping centre, showing the future of Belfast as well the past, the Irish Times reports.
The spot where the Titanic was launched on May 31st 1911 is also a stop on what is no doubt a highlight of the trip for many visitors.
Economic development is now the main focus of the Titanic Quarter, which is 185 acres in size, but the allure of the famous doomed voyage is still thrilling thousands.
Enthusiasm and interest in the Titanic story, though always widespread, increased dramatically upon the release of the Oscar-winning epic film starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet eleven years ago.
