A new hotel has been unveiled in the heart of Belfast, following the renovation of a landmark building.The Four Corners building had been derelict for 15 years until it underwent a £15 million transformation that has seen it become the latest Premier Inn hotel.
There will be 171 beds in the hotel, while a restaurant will have space for 200 people and a bar is also on the premises.
Many people flying into the Irish capital will be able to use the hotel and it will also create 75 jobs.
Minister for Social Development, Margaret Ritchie commented: "Last week at the Belfast Evening Economy Conference I said that this growing modern city needs a vibrant evening economy and this £15m development is yet another step in that direction.
"It provides a new place for people to spend their leisure time and a destination to attract greater numbers of visitors to the area."
An October 6th opening date has been pencilled in for the hotel. Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants, which owns Premier Inn, opened their first hotel in Belfast last year.
