Apple comes to Belfast

People wanting to buy the latest iPod or iPhone can now head to Belfast and get the gadgets direct from the makers as the city is set to see an Apple store open on Saturday, September 20th.

The Belfast Apple Store will be located in the Victoria Square shopping centre and becomes the first Apple shop in Northern Ireland.

There are 18 in total throughout the UK, selling goods such as the new iPod Touch as well as handsets and accessories for iPhones.

Victoria Square has been attracting numerous top shops to open within its premises, with the first House of Fraser, Pumpkin Patch, All Saints, Firetrap and Hardy Amies stores in Northern Ireland all situated there.

It is open seven days a week and includes 17 different buildings and over 3,00 staff, making it an attractive shopping experience.

A view across Belfast can be seen from the centre, and Belfast Lord Mayor Jim Rodgers declared himself the "happiest person in all of Northern Ireland" when the centre opened earlier this year.ADNFCR-1390-ID-18783930-ADNFCR
