Premier Inn to open new Belfast hotel

A host of new employment opportunities will be on offer following the opening of a new hotel in Belfast.

Premier Inn intends to create 75 jobs at its new hotel in the city's Cathedral Quarter, the Belfast Telegraph reports.

The £75 million project will open in October, representing the second hotel to be opened in the Northern Irish capital by the chain.

Keith Freeman, overall manager for Belfast operation, said that there are plans to open a further ten hotels there in the next five years.

"We have reported occupancy rates of over 90 per cent every month since we first opened, so we have every confidence that this new site will continue this success and cater for the growing business and tourist market in the city centre," he claimed.

Premier Inn markets itself as the UK's largest hotel chain, with 500 sites across the UK. ADNFCR-1390-ID-18695954-ADNFCR
