Ryanair launches Flight Tracker

Low-cost airline Ryanair has teamed up with Sentient Solutions to launch a new Flight Tracker service.

The service will deliver flight information directly to UK and Irish mobiles. Those expecting a Ryanair passenger can now receive up-to-date flight information and status updates on the carrier's flights to and from the UK and Ireland.

Spokesperson Sinead Finn said: "Ryanair's new Flight Tracker service will pass on the good news that friends and family are on yet another on-time flight with Europe's most punctual airline.

"For just £1.50 (€2), Flight Tracker will keep you updated on departure and arrival times as well as providing important notifications on occasions when a Ryanair flight is delayed. This service will allow people to keep those airport parking charges to a minimum."

In related news, Ryanair has announced plans to launch new routes from East Midlands in October this year.

The addition of flights to Faro, Fuerteventura and Prague will bring Ryanair's East Midlands base to 38 routes including services operated to Belfast, Milan and Malaga.ADNFCR-1390-ID-18653047-ADNFCR
