Belfast restaurant welcomes royal guests

A top Belfast restaurant played host to royal couple the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall this week.

As part of a two day visit to the province, the pair visited the award-winning Nick's Warehouse in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter in Belfast.

Keen organic gardeners, Charles and Camilla enjoyed an exhibition of local food produce organised by representatives of the North East Ireland Slow Food Convivium.

Owners of the restaurant, formally a bonded whiskey warehouse, Nick and Kathy Price welcomed the royal couple and presented them with a hamper of local produce.

Also in attendance were Lady Carswell, the Lord Lieutenant of Belfast, and Jim Rodgers, the Lord Mayor.

During their stay, the prince and duchess attended a garden party at Hillsborough and helped open Northern Ireland's newest Museum, Arts and Civic Centre in Ballymena.
