Top DJs head to new Belfast nightclub

A new project was launched this week which will see Ireland's leading DJs take control of the decks and entertain the crowds.

Dub Discotech is scheduled for the third Friday in every month at McCracken's Bar in Joy's Entry.

Kwame Daniels was the first DJ to perform at the event. He built his reputation playing at the successful Bounce nights held in Derry where he played his individual style of music.

"One has to be persistent with this kind of music, when the patrons like the sound of it and they are hungry for more, you have to give it to them," said Daniels.

The night will feature talented DJs who have been given a flexible remit regarding the style of music played.

Belfast is fast becoming a hotspot for talented acts and in the last week has seen N-trance and Gleave Dobbin perform.

The Dub Discotech event starts at 9.30pm and costs £5 on the door.ADNFCR-1390-ID-18563316-ADNFCR
