Cafe Vaudeville offers touch of glamour

For a taste of the continent when you're on holiday in Belfast, try Cafe Vaudeville in the city's Arthur Street.

The Belfast Telegraph stresses that this bar is opulent: "Think ornate chandeliers, ambient lighting, reflective mirrors and plush tiling, in keeping with the Parisian theme."

Upstairs you will find a House of Champagne, but be aware that on Fridays and Saturdays you will need a gold card (or be a guest) to get a table.

As well as champagne (£7.70 a glass), the drink options here include cocktails such as Strawberry Caipirisima, Tuaca Sun Burst, Singapore Sling and Bahama Mama.

The clientele here are likely to be power-dressing twenty-somethings, the newspaper explains: "Women here dress for style, not comfort - designer jeans and killer heels, fetching dresses and I-mean-business boots. Men are polished in expensive, probably-designer slacks and sweaters."

One of the many top bars that dot Belfast's streets, Cafe Vaudeville is sure to add a touch of glamour to your Northern Ireland trip.

Flights to Belfast depart from UK airports including London Heathrow, Leeds Bradford and Manchester.
