Manx2.com increases flights from Isle of Man to Belfast

Airline Manx2.com has added more flights from the Isle of Man to Belfast International Airport.

This means that the airline's Belfast timetable now offers up to 70 flights per week between the two destinations, making travel to Northern Ireland easier for visitors from the Isle of Man.

"Belfast has so much to offer from shopping and nightlife to sightseeing and exploring the surrounding countryside, and we have grown the route substantially in the last year," said Manx2.com communications director James Filleul.

"Our summer timetable in 2008 has 20 per cent more flights on it than the 2007 version, which is a real sign of how successful that route has been."

The increased Belfast frequency was part of a wider expansion at Manx2.com that also included an extra weekly flight from the island to Gloucester.

The airline is the Isle of Man Bank Small Sized Organisation of the Year.
