Ryanair offers £5 tickets to Belfast City

Those wanting to visit Belfast early next year can snap up an especially tempting bargain with Irish low-cost airline Ryanair.

In its January sale, the airline is selling tickets from various UK airports to Belfast City from £5 one-way, including taxes and charges.

Passengers have the choice of flying from Stansted, Glasgow, Liverpool or East Midlands airports for this price, for travel until March 12th, 2008.

Tickets must be booked by Janaury 10th, and reservations must be made seven days in advance. Travel is available on any day of the week, subject to availability. A blackout period runs from February 8th to February 18th, and also major sporting events and holidays are excluded.

Belfast City (also known as George Best Belfast City Airport) is located just two miles from the centre of the Northern Irish capital.
