Belfast's got the X Factor

The X Factor is set to come to Belfast as part of a UK tour to allow fans of the show to see its stars performing in the flesh.

Although only one act, girl group Bad Lashes, has been voted off so far, plans for the winners' and finalists' tour have already been announced.

The talent show's best acts will play the Odyssey Arena on March 18th, marking the third consecutive year that Belfast has attracted the TV contest's tour.

One of the finalists set to prove particularly popular to Belfast audiences is Eoghan Ouigg. The youngster is from Dungiven in Northern Ireland and has already wowed audiences with a rendition of John Lennon track Imagine.

Judge Louis Walsh commented on the show that Eoghan has "got so much potential".

Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher of Oasis, who are also set to play in Belfast, has hit out at the X Factor, stating that "it has absolutely nothing to do with music".
