Boyzone start comeback in Belfast

Boyzone are set to return to Belfast for the first date of a new tour scheduled to take place in 2009

The Irish five-piece, who recently reformed, will perform at the Odyssey Arena on May 24th next year.

Called the Better 09 tour, Boyzone will also call at Wembley Arena and the O2 Arena in London, as well as a playing a gig in Dublin.

Since splitting up at the height of their success as the 90s drew to a close, the boyband's members have gone on to various projects by themselves.

Ronan Keating has forged an enduring solo career, with number one hits such as When You Say Nothing At All, while Stephen Gately moved into theatre and Keith Duffy joined Coronation Street.

Now though, the five-piece are back together, with eager fans looking forward to seeing classics such as No Matter What performed, as well as new single Love You Anyway.

Tickets are on sale for the Belfast show on Friday, with Boyzone's new album Back Again…No Matter What, set for release on October 13th.
